1. Service Description

HLISTIX is an educational research and reference platform for healthcare practitioners working in integrative, functional, and complementary medicine, designed to support professional learning through structured access to published research, research-derived educational content, published treatment protocols, and professional guidelines. It supports documentation, educational, research, and administrative workflows for healthcare practitioners.

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision-making, and does not replace the independent professional judgment of a qualified healthcare practitioner.

2. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent that:

  • You are a licensed or authorized healthcare practitioner (where applicable)
  • You have authority to upload information processed through the Service
  • You are legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction

3. Intended Use

HLISTIX is intended for professional education, research, and reference use by healthcare practitioners working in integrative, functional, and complementary medicine.

HLISTIX is not intended to function as a medical device. The Service:

  1. Does not diagnose disease or other conditions
  2. Does not perform clinical assessment
  3. Does not prescribe or select treatment for any patient
  4. Does not generate patient-specific treatment recommendations or directives — published research, research-derived educational content, published treatment protocols and professional guidelines are presented for professional consideration and independent evaluation only
  5. Does not replace independent professional judgment — every source is cited and independently reviewable, so the practitioner can verify the basis of anything displayed and determines its relevance
Clinical Responsibility Acknowledgment

The Service is designed as an educational research and reference platform for practitioners in integrative, functional, and complementary medicine. It is NOT intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. By using this platform, you acknowledge:

  • The platform supports but does NOT replace independent clinical judgment
  • The platform does NOT automate or direct patient care decisions
  • All clinical decisions remain your sole responsibility as a licensed practitioner
  • Information is provided for educational and informational purposes only

Healthcare practitioners are solely responsible for their clinical decisions and patient care. Always use professional judgment and consider individual patient circumstances.

4. Practitioner Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for all data you upload
  • You have obtained all required patient consents
  • You determine whether data constitutes PHI or sensitive personal data
  • You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

5. No Clinical Reliance

The Service:

  • Does not replace professional judgment
  • Must not be relied upon for diagnosis or treatment decisions
  • Is not intended for emergency or real-time medical use

6. Data Accuracy

Hlistix does not verify:

  • Accuracy of patient information
  • Completeness of documentation
  • Clinical appropriateness of practitioner notes or recommendations

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Hlistix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Hlistix shall not be liable for clinical outcomes, patient harm, or regulatory violations arising from user actions

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hlistix from any claims arising out of:

  • Data uploaded by you
  • Your professional services
  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

9. Suspension and Termination

Access may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of the Service
  • Legal or regulatory risk

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

Exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the competent state and federal courts located in Orange County, California, United States.
